Hardware: Refers to the physical, tangible components of a computer system. These are the parts you can see and touch. Think of the electronic and mechanical parts that make up the computer.
Software: Refers to the intangible set of instructions, data, or programs that tell the computer hardware what tasks to perform. It's the code that makes the hardware functional. You can't physically touch software; you interact with it through the hardware.

Hardware Examples:
Internal Components: Central Processing Unit (CPU), Random Access Memory (RAM), Hard Disk Drive (HDD) or Solid State Drive (SSD), Motherboard, Graphics Card (GPU), Power Supply.
External Peripherals: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Printer, Scanner, Speakers, USB flash drive.
Software Examples:
System Software: Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), Device Drivers (for printers, graphics cards), Utility Software (antivirus, file compression), Firmware (BIOS/UEFI).

ardware refers to the physical parts of a computer that you can see and touch. These include things like the keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, and hard drive. The purpose of hardware is to perform tasks and carry out instructions that the computer receives from software.

Example of hardware: Central Processing Unit (CPU), monitor, keyboard, USB flash drive.

Software, on the other hand, is the set of instructions or programs that tell the hardware what to do. You cannot touch software; it exists as code or data inside the computer. The purpose of software is to control hardware and help users do tasks like writing documents, browsing the internet, or playing games.

Example of software: Microsoft Word, web browsers like Google Chrome, operating systems like Windows or macOS.

Hardware is the physical part of a computer you can touch, like the keyboard and monitor. Software is the set of programs you can't touch, like Microsoft Word. Hardware runs tasks, while software gives instructions. Both work together to make the computer useful.

Purpose of hardware: To perform tasks and carry out instructions (e.g., typing, displaying, printing).
Purpose of software: To give commands and control how the hardware works to complete tasks.
